Can’t Recognize My Fiancé? Fine, I’ll Marry a Stranger

“Claire can’t recognize faces anyway.” Before my wedding, I overheard my parents plotting to give my fiancé to my adopted sister and let a stand-in marry me. Ryan agreed. So when six identical grooms waited at the altar, I chose the stranger on purpose. “Don’t just stand there. Carry me downstairs.” I walked away without exposing their pathetic lie—and married him for real. My family called me cruel. Ryan demanded I come back. But my new husband dyed his hair ice blue so I could always find him. Then his mother revealed this stranger had loved me all along.
