Jenny discovered in her past life that Hail was engaged in an illicit affair. Hail begged her to keep it a secret, fearing that her reputation-conscious father-in-law would beat her to death. In a panic, the two rushed home. Meanwhile, as the adulterous couple heard them returning, Wu De tried to flee—only to find himself stuck to Hail.
