The Buried Truth
Wang Yang accumulated hundreds of thousands in debt from gambling and was being pursued by loan sharks. Just then, the loan sharks showed up, demanding immediate repayment. In a panic, Wang Yang tried to claim the insurance money, only to learn that the policy could be redeemed once the term ended, regardless of whether his mother was alive or not. Overwhelmed with regret and shock, he fainted. When he awoke, he realized it had all been a dream. This story serves as a reminder to cherish and care for our parents while we still can, rather than waiting until it’s too late and living with lifelong regret.
