The Killer They Hired Was Me

Buck spent eight years in prison for wiping out a gang to avenge his adoptive mother. On release he moves into his brother Brock's house, guards his family, crushes every man who comes for him, and hunts his birth mother. A silver falcon badge points him to Victoria, matriarch of the Montgomery empire. She poisons, frames, and plots against him. She does not know the assassin she paid for is Buck himself. He survives them all and takes the throne.
