You After Love
Gu Hao, after a fierce argument with his family, leaves home to prove himself. On his journey, a car accident leads him to mistakenly believe that Lin Xiyue is the one who saved and meticulously cared for him, when it was actually her sister, Lin Xixing. He subsequently marries Lin Xiyue. However, after marriage, Lin Xiyue constantly spends time with her male best friend, Lu Xuchen. Unfortunately, Gu Hao accidentally develops uremia and requires treatment. Due to the high medical costs, Lu Xuchen brainwashes Lin Xiyue, convincing her that such a man is useless to keep around (especially since she is pregnant). He advises her to prioritize having a "backup plan" and suggests she abort the child. For the sake of his child, a better future life, and to legitimize his child, Gu Hao decides to reconcile with his family. He confesses the marriage and pregnancy to his mother. His father, Gu Chengtian, also wants to reconcile. His mother, Xu Moli, immediately arranges for gifts to welcome her daughter-in-law. Meanwhile, Lin Xiyue, heeding the malicious advice, aborts the child. She later discovers that Gu Hao is staying in a premium hospital room. She and Lu Xuchen confront Gu Hao, also finding out he hired a personal caregiver. Incited by Lu Xuchen, Lin Xiyue strongly objects, deeming it a waste of money. Lin Xixing stands up for Gu Hao. Upon learning Gu Hao needs surgery costing 500,000, Lin Xiyue refuses to contribute a single penny, forcing Gu Hao to borrow the money himself.
