Ramona was abandoned by her stepmother at a young age and taken away by child traffickers, leaving her traumatized and unable to speak. When she was eventually found and brought back home, her stepmother's abuse intensified, while her father, consumed by work, neglected her entirely. Among his belongings, she found the pocket watch she had lovingly given him as a child, a keepsake he had carried all these years. To her astonishment, she realized the pocket watch had the mysterious ability to take her back in time.
