Cloud is the guardian deity of Huaxia, having lived for tens of thousands of years. When she was ascending to the higher realms, she discovered that her earthly ties were not yet severed, and she needed to descend to repay a karmic debt. So, Cloud decided to enter the mortal world disguised as the eldest daughter of the Yun family in Haicheng. However, she didn’t expect that as soon as she descended, she would run into Chester, who was on his way up the mountain to seek medical help. Grandma Chester dug deeper and eventually found out that Cloud was indeed the eldest daughter of the Yun family. So, they went to Yun's house to seek her medical help. What they didn’t expect was that Cloud would display remarkable abilities. In order to treat his illness, they ended up signing a marriage contract and becoming husband and wife. Having descended to fulfill her past ties, Cloud thought everything was settled, but to her surprise, thousands of years had passed in the mortal world. The situation had completely changed, and Haicheng was now home to eight powerful families, with the Chu family, now the richest in the country, standing strong. Cloud entered the world as an adopted daughter of the Yun family. Meanwhile, Chester, who came seeking medical help, found nothing but disappointment. Not one to believe in supernatural beings, he thought Cloud was just a fraud pretending to be a deity and approaching him with a hidden agenda. Under his grandmother's pressure, Chester reluctantly took the mushroom, and his condition did indeed improve. Upon learning that the Yun family was hosting a reunion banquet for Cloud, Chester brought a generous gift and went to thank her, hoping to get an explanation for everything. Cloud initially intended to hide her true identity, but unexpectedly, Chester suddenly spat out blood and was on the brink of death. At that moment, Cloud discovered that he was wearing a magical artifact she had lost 20 years ago. She concluded that he was connected to the person she had been searching for, so she decided to form a closer bond with him and uncover the truth. As they spent more time together, they gradually helped each other heal, slowly letting down their guard, learning to trust one another. Together, they punished wrongdoers and searched for a way to fully heal Chester.
