She is determined to break off the engagement, yet faces fierce opposition from her grandfather, uncle and aunt. Left with no other choice, Jiang Siheng plans to stage a fake romance with her personal bodyguard Xie Yanxing to force Duan Yichen to call off the engagement of his own accord. Before long, she develops genuine feelings for him amid their act. What she does not know is that Xie Yanxing is actually the young heir of the powerful Xie clan in the capital. Eight years ago, he was homeless on the streets and saved by Jiang Siheng.
