Stolen Breath
Catherine "Cathy" Daniels is diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer and given only three months to live. Yet her family refuses to believe her—her cruel mother-in-law, Margaret Shaw, verbally abuses her, her cheating husband, Lucas Shaw, violently turns on her when she catches him in the act, and her cold-hearted son, Liam Shaw, watches indifferently as she suffers. On a quiet, sunlit afternoon, Cathy passes away, her final words of love and warning whispered to Natalie.
