Pediatric crisis
A sudden power outage hits the Pediatric ICU at Tianhai City's First People's Hospital while the department head, An Le, is conducting rounds with her son, intern doctor Jasen, in the emergency room. After the power goes out, Zhu Gusheng claims he’s going to report the situation to the hospital director, leaving his mother to handle the emergency room alone. An Le works through the night, moving backup power supplies and connecting cables to restart the children's medical equipment. She believes she has saved the children, but when she wakes up the next morning, a group of parents storms in, furious and accusing An Le of causing the deaths of the children in the emergency room. When An Le opens the emergency room, she finds the children are, in fact, dead. Shocked, she sees her son, Zhu Gusheng, arriving. She expects him to clear her name, but instead, he pulls out a video of child abuse, cementing her guilt in causing the children's deaths. After being reborn, An Le carefully reflects on every detail and secretly prepares for the upcoming challenge. This time, when the emergency room loses power again, Zhu Gusheng again suggests reporting the situation, leaving An Le to manage things alone. However, An Le says there are too many children for her to save alone. Once again, the parents storm in, angrily blaming An Le for killing their children. Outside the emergency room, An Le confronts the parents, and when her son arrives with the video, An Le, already prepared, exposes his scheme on the spot. As An Le anticipated, the entire incident is no accident. The father of the children, her own husband, Zhu Zhengqiang, arrives and begins to incite the parents, attempting to harm An Le. In a critical moment, An Le opens the emergency room door, and this time, everyone sees that the children inside are still alive. The parents realize their mistake. However, An Le is unprepared for what comes next: opening the door was just the first hurdle. Behind the scenes, there are even more malicious plans aimed at her.
