Royal Order to Seduce the Monk: I Win the Prince With Tarot
Shen Zhinan, a tarot card diviner from the 21st century, dies from overwork while reading fortunes for clients. She unexpectedly transmigrates into Tianyuan Kingdom and takes over the body of a royal national master who disguises herself as a man. Upon waking, she finds her tarot deck has awakened a special power: it can show others’ affection level toward her. The original host of this body was a shadow guard raised by the First Prince Lu Guichen. She fell in love with the Second Prince Lu Guizhou, so Lu Guichen faked her death and replaced her with Shen Zhinan. Before Shen Zhinan can figure out her new situation, the First Prince threatens her with a Heart‑Piercing Gu worm. If she fails to persuade the tonsured Second Prince Lu Guizhou to return to secular life within thirty days, she will die a painful death. Left with no choice, Shen Zhinan takes the alias “Zhizhi” and heads to Baqing Temple to complete her mission. What she does not know is that Lu Guizhou has long held secret feelings for the “male national master”. Tormented by what he believes to be forbidden same‑sex affection and fearing he will bring misfortune to the other person, he chose to become a monk. Faced with Shen Zhinan, who shares the exact same face as the national master, Lu Guizhou assumes she is bait sent by the First Prince. Though filled with wariness and annoyance, he cannot help falling for her amid their constant bickering. Fighting for her life, Shen Zhinan tries every trick she can think of: seducing him in an icy pool, acting coquettish while pretending to be the national master’s younger sister, and even jumping rubber‑band games to pass tests, creating countless hilarious moments. Her tarot cards save her time and again. They reveal Lu Guizhou’s 100‑percent affection value for the “national master” and help her unmask multiple plots. In one absurd incident, the First Prince accidentally drinks an aphrodisiac meant for Lu Guizhou. Panicked, Shen Zhinan shoves him into a stable, where he ends up tangled with a donkey, leaving behind the embarrassing mark of donkey hooves. During the grand sacrificial ceremony, Shen Zhinan accidentally saves the emperor, who has been poisoned by so‑called immortal pills. The First Prince attempts to assassinate her, but Lu Guizhou arrives just in time to rescue her. When Shen Zhinan takes a sword strike for him, a plum‑blossom mark on her neck is exposed, stirring Lu Guizhou’s deep suspicions.
