Stolen Breath
Catherine "Cathy" Daniels is diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer and given only three months to live. With her remaining strength, Cathy names Natalie and Daniel’s son, Chris, as the insurance beneficiaries, begging Daniel to protect her daughter. He agrees. On a quiet, sunlit afternoon, Cathy passes away, her final words of love and warning whispered to Natalie.
