Entangled Fates
Housewife Susan Su and business tycoon Sean Song cross paths during a rain-soaked confrontation with their cheating partners—only to discover that Susan’s husband, gallery owner Henry Chen, is having an affair with Sean’s fiancée, Ivy Xu. As they witness the pair’s intimacy, Sean feels little for his arranged-marriage fiancée, while Susan grapples with doubts about ending her own marriage. With Sean’s help, Susan rediscovers her long-neglected self and, in the process, sparks an unexpected romance with him—full of passion and defiance. Determined to break free, she resolves to divorce Henry. However, when Henry learns of Susan’s closeness to Sean, he blackmails her into leveraging Sean’s connections, threatening both the divorce and her ailing mother’s health. Amid the turmoil, Susan discovers she’s pregnant. Refusing to endure Henry’s manipulation any longer, she exposes his schemes. Enraged, Henry attacks her, but Sean intervenes in time, securing her freedom. As they grow closer, Susan’s fear of commitment—stemming from her failed marriage—holds her back. Meanwhile, Ivy, desperate to ruin Susan, causes a scandal at Song Corporation’s annual gala. Her plan backfires: Sean publicly stands by Susan, while Ivy is disowned by her family. Moved by Sean’s devotion, Susan finally dares to open her heart—until his childhood "first love," Mia Meng, returns. Manipulating Ivy and Henry, Mia orchestrates Susan’s abduction. Sean rescues her, and the conspirators face justice. He also learns Susan carries his child—but Mia strikes again, targeting Susan’s mother and unborn baby. Sean takes a bullet to protect them, proving his love once and for all. In the end, Susan and Sean embrace their hard-won happiness together.
