My Wife Refuses to Listen and Insists on Raising a Giant Python
Chen Nan has a prophetic dream where a giant python attacks the entire village. He jolts awake from the nightmare. Right at that moment, his wife Li Mei brings a small white snake home. Chen Nan instantly recognizes it as the juvenile serpent he saw in his dream. He begs his wife not to keep it, yet she ignores all warnings. She even feeds it dried meat. Armed with weapons, Chen Nan and the villagers venture into the dangerous jungle to search for the giant python. Li Mei follows them into the woods. The group faces countless dangers. When Chen Nan prepares to strike the python, Li Mei desperately stops him, begging him not to hurt the serpent. Chen Nan and the villagers cannot understand why she defends the creature so fiercely. As they investigate further, they follow the python into an ancient cave. Discovering ancient ruins inside, Chen Nan realizes the truth is far more complicated than anyone imagined. He finds the python deep within the cave. By now, its evolution is complete, and its enormous body fills everyone with terror. Li Mei tries to stop Chen Nan once more. After analyzing the cave relics and the python’s movements, Chen Nan finally uncovers the long-buried truth.
