Came Back From Desert For Blood

Years ago, gunslinger Elias vanished in a war and was branded a deserter. Now he returns, only to find his father hanged on false charges, his gold mine stolen, his six-year-old daughter begging in the streets, and his wife being forced into a wedding dress by his father's killer. That night, Elias tears through the wedding and the bell tower. He exposes police chief's corruption and senator's war profiteering. Then he reveals his true identity, Captain of the Fifteenth Battalion of the Black Riders, and crushes the powerful in court with evidence and bullets. Vindicated, he becomes the new mayor, protecting his family and the town he once left behind.
